High Bickington Project 2000 is a 'not-for-profit' voluntary organisation that is working in Partnership with Statutory Agencies to regenerate the local economy, develop affordable housing and provide educational and community facilities designed to fit the needs of the 21st Century. Our plans are firmly based on established local needs and priorities and are set in the context of sustainable building and renewable energy agendas. We now require the following staff to help us move forward with implementing our plans.
Development Manager £24,000 per annum
37 hours a week- 2 year fixed contract
Report to: Chairman of Project 2000
Based: High Bickington - North Devon
Responsible for: Overseeing Administrator / Book Keeping Assistant
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering the project to deadlines as work programme states, will require flexibility on hours, regular meeting of High Bickington project 2000 and some travel.
Essential Skills required: Community development expertise, demonstrable evidence of managing & delivering complex & multifaceted projects, Financial management skills, excellent verbal and communication skills, self motivator, good understanding of sustainable building techniques and renewable energy. IT skills will include Microsoft Office.
Administrator/Book Keeping Assistant £13,335 per annum
(Pro rata 3 days / 20 hours flexible week) - 2 year fixed contract
Report to: Development Manager
Based: High Bickington - North Devon
Responsible for: providing secretarial, administrative and book keeping support for the project.
Hours and tasks will be flexible and involve working closely with the development manager. Good organisational and communication skills are essential as is a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the Internet, accurate typing skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
