Housing Survey

The housing survey forms will have been delivered by the time that you read this update. (If you haven't received one, please contact David Venner at the address given below). Please complete and return the forms by Monday 20th August to the Community Council of Devon in the reply paid envelope. To give an up-to-date, overall picture of housing in the parish it is important that we get as many responses as possible to Part One of the form.

If you are in need of an affordable home please complete both Part One and Part Two of the form. Even if you have already registered your interest with the Community Property Trust and perhaps with Torridge District Council too, please still complete and return the forms. This will ensure that the Community Council have all the latest information on your circumstances and needs to put into their analysis. Please remember that individual replies will not be made available to anyone else - all details will remain confidential.

As reported last month, there will be drop-in sessions, with John Scott and Sue Southwell from the Community Council of Devon, for those wishing to talk through their housing requirements in confidence and to get help with completing the forms. These will take place in the Meeting Point on Wednesday 8th August and Wednesday 15th August, from 11.00am to 7.00pm. Those who wish to take up this opportunity should contact John Scott as indicated in the forms.
